Statements of concern must be filed by November 12, 202311:59 p.m. mountain time or before a decision is made on the application, whichever is sooner. This is an expedited application and a decision on this application may be made immediately or on an expedited basis.
If the AER does not receive any statements of concern from persons who may be directly and adversely affected by the AER's decision on the application, the AER may continue to process the application and may approve it without further notice or without a hearing.

Statements of concern relating exclusively to compensation for land use are not dealt with by the AER. For land use concerns, not related to geothermal development, please contact the Land and Property Rights Tribunal. Under section 21 of the Responsible Energy Development Act, the AER does not have jurisdiction to assess the adequacy of Crown consultation associated with the rights of aboriginal peoples as recognized and affirmed under the Constitution Act, 1982.
